Our Beliefs
Hebrews, Chapters 9:1-11, explains that the Mosaic Tabernacle in the Old Testament was a symbol or a metaphor, for Jesus Christ, who is “a greater and more perfect tabernacle.” Therefore, if we want to obtain a detailed blueprint of how to grow according to the stature of Jesus Christ, we should study the Mosaic Tabernacle.
James 3:6 confirms that we are made like a wheel: our heart is the hub; our five senses are the spokes and our will is the axle that directs our entire being. (Hebrew word for course is wheel). We also see the division of body, soul and spirit in I Thessalonians 5:23. Since our beings were corrupted in the Garden, we must now work to cleanse them through study and application of God's Word, prayer, repentance and Faith.
Christ Gospel Church espouses the essential fundamental truths of all Christians. This is summarized in the Apostles Creed.
THE APOSTLE’S CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from whence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen
